The G. M. Frost Research and Information Centre is a picturesque structure perched on top of the Victoria Road hill on the east side of the city. Our conference room provides a view unmatched by any facility you will find in Guelph! The facility is accessible and parking is free.
Because of its serene setting, easy accessibility and location, many organizations use our facility for retreats and planning meetings. The rooms are only available for rent during normal business hours (Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm).
The patio area off at the front of the building offers a panoramic view -- a unique setting to use as a breakout area, or for a refreshing coffee/lunch break during the summer months. Imagine sitting at a cosy picnic table overlooking the City of Guelph!
The GTI Boardroom contains a large boardroom-style table and leather armchairs. It will hold no more than 12 people comfortably.
The GTI Conference Room is a larger venue which can hold from 20 to 70 people, depending on the style of the event. In this room,
- Rectangular tables and chairs can be set up creatively by the user group in whatever style is required;
- Classroom, Boardroom, Various "U" shapes;
- User group is responsible for room set up and clean up afterwards;
- Capacity is absolutely limited to 70 people! (and may be less, depending on setup)
- The Conference Room price is contingent on the nature of and expected number of attendees at the event. Not available on weekends or after business hours.
- The facility is not available for wedding showers, weddings or wedding receptions.
