The information in this table is based on a scientific literature review conducted by Evan Elford, University of Guelph, 2008. It's presented by Ontario Turfgrass Research Foundation and Ontario Horticultural Trades Foundation.  

Healthy Lawns
At this City of Guelph website, you'll find out how to have a healthy lawn while reducing your use of pesticides!. There is information here for both homeowners and professionals.  Prevention of pest problems is the best way to have a healthy lawn. (Note: there is quite a lot of advertising on this site, but the columns on the left generally contain good information.)
