The Turfgrass Systems Management Certificate is a flexible, fully online program designed for professionals who want to strengthen their knowledge of turfgrass management while continuing to work. Whether you manage golf courses, sports fields, municipal parks, sod farms, landscapes, or other turf areas, this program provides practical, science-based education you can apply immediately in the field.
Complete the certificate at your own pace by earning five courses through a series of online courses. Each course is delivered over 12 weeks and includes 36 hours of instruction, allowing you to learn on a schedule that works for you.

Program Structure
The certificate consists of five courses, with courses offered throughout the year. Students may register for individual courses or work toward completing the full certificate. Complete all five courses in as little as one year, or spread your coursework over up to five years to balance your education with work and personal commitments.

The full certificate consists of 180 hours of instruction delivered over 36 weeks (five courses, each 12 weeks in length with 36 contact hours). Because courses are offered throughout the year, you can choose a pace that works for you—whether that's completing the certificate quickly or taking one course at a time.
