Volunteer at the Canadian Open
The Canadian Open is a golf tournament that has been hosted in Canada since 1904. This year, the Open will be hosted by St. George's Golf and Country Club in Etobicoke, ON from June 6 to 12.
Hosting the Open requires tremendous effort on behalf of the greens crew of the hosting course and the organizing committee. Community members and interested persons from the industry can help out by joining one of the numerous volunteer committees. Volunteers can help with scoring, registration, hospitality, and more! Each year, more than 1,900 people contribute their time to volunteer at this event. Several of the staff and students from the University of Guelph have already signed up to lend a hand.
Volunteer positions are currently being filled and you can register at https://www.rbccanadianopen.com/volunteer and if you have any questions surrounding volunteering, please email rbccanadianopen@golfcanada.ca.
If you have grounds maintenance experience, and are interested in helping with working, raking, or filling divots, you can contact St. Forger's Assistant Golf Course Assistant Marco China at MChina@st.georges.org
