The Department of Plant Agriculture has announced some exciting new changes to the leadership of the Guelph Turfgrass Institute (GTI) and the Associate Diploma in Turfgrass Management Program (ADTM).

Effective Monday, June 27, Prof. Eric Lyons will assume the role of Director for the Guelph Turfgrass Institute as part of his faculty duties and Stephen Fleischauer, formerly the Interim director of the GTI and ADTM program, will assume the role of ADTM Program Director.

This is a very exciting time for turfgrass at the University of Guelph!

The GTI is pleased to welcome Dr. Lyons and Stephen Fleischauer into their new roles. We look forward to working as a team to forge relationships, enhance turfgrass educational programs, and provide industry outreach. We will also continue our turfgrass research programs, many of which emphasize ecologically friendly alternatives and sustainable management practices for turfgrass systems. The new leadership will further enhance the University of Guelph's established reputation as the home of Canada's premier turfgrass education and research programs.
