Trade Publications

One of the Guelph Turfgrass Institute's most effective outreach tools is sharing knowledge through industry publications. Our team regularly writes articles for turfgrass magazines, association newsletters, and online publications to ensure that the latest research and practical management strategies reach turf professionals across Canada.

Our articles bridge the gap between scientific research and day-to-day turf management by translating complex studies into practical, evidence-based recommendations. We cover topics relevant to all sectors of the industry, including golf courses, sports fields, sod production, municipalities, lawn care, and landscape management. In addition to communicating new research findings, we publish summaries of educational events such as conferences, workshops, and field days, allowing those who could not attend to benefit from the key takeaways.

By working with industry associations and publication partners, the GTI helps ensure that research conducted at the University of Guelph and beyond reaches the professionals who can put it into practice. Through clear, accessible, and science-based communication, we support continuous learning and encourage the adoption of innovative, sustainable turfgrass management practices.
